We pride ourselves on the level of coaching we provide. Our main goal is to keep our clients safe through teaching proper movement mechanics, while also making sure they are reaching their personal health goals.

what is the class structure?

There are coaches and trainers, and then there are teachers. Twenty years of teaching and over thirty years of coaching have helped develop the best environment for your goals and needs. That is the environment in which we foster here at PBCF. We have helped hundreds of very different individuals with a vast difference in needs. Every one of those folks are still part of our PBCF Family no matter what part of the country they now live. Your goals and dreams become our mission whether you desire to lose weight, just want to become healthier, and/or have dreams of being a champion in your sport. We will remain committed to you! We have been helping flight students and Blue Angels pilots to stay fit for 10 years!

We truly believe that everyone has the ability to reach their maximum health and fitness goals so let us be the catalyst throughout your journey and come on in and visit us to at least try your 2 days free.

RANDY

Olympic Lifting Certification

Randy is a native of Seattle, Washington and has been in the field of education and coaching for over 40 years. He holds a bachelors of Arts in Physical Education, bachelors of Arts in Special Education and a Master’s degree in School Administration. He prides himself in his dedication to research and his ability to care for those he coaches and teaches. Randy’s education and training background revolve around helping others to improve.

Randy is a CrossFit Level 2 (CF-L2) Trainer and holds his Olympic Weight Lifting Certification through CrossFit. Randy has a wide-range background as a universal athlete with being a competitive swimmer, high school and collegiate soccer player at Mead Senior High School and Whitworth University, licensed bike racer, PSIA-NW Technical Ski Team/Elite Instruction Team Member for eight years, and Regional CrossFit Competitor.

Randy has also dedicated the last 12 years to extensively and passionately researching nutrition. He has found the pinnacle of nutrition for the human body in Paleo. He has helped change hundreds of lives throughout sharing his knowledge of Paleolithic nutrition and the Paleo lifestyle. His knowledge of kinesiology and nutrition can help anyone to change their life to a happy healthier one. He continues to do just that- changing people’s lives individualized one at a time.

KYRA

CrossFit Level 1 

Kyra Pelletier is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer at Perdido Bay CrossFit.  A native of Watertown, New York, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Binghamton University in 2001 and her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2003.  In 2006 she married her husband Brian, a now-retired US Navy pilot, and spent years moving across the country and around the world.  After having two children and searching for a well-rounded fitness program, Kyra was introduced to CrossFit in 2013 while living in Bahrain and knew she had found what she had been looking for.  

Now that Pensacola has become a permanent home, Kyra spends her time volunteering in her children’s school, drinking too much coffee, and developing her skills as a CrossFit athlete and, since 2018, a CF L1 trainer as well.  She feels strongly that CrossFit can help improve the quality of life for people from all walks of life and hopes to spread her love of the community to others.

MATT

CrossFit Level 1 

Matthew Golden is a native of Johnstown Pennsylvania.  Following graduation from Conemaugh Township Area High School, he joined the United States Navy and retired after 22 years of service following tours of duty in Guam, Japan, Norfolk Virginia, and Pensacola Florida.  Matt has proven it’s never too late to start your fitness journey, waiting until his forties to take on the challenges of CrossFit and Obstacle Course Races.  After logging over 1000 attendances at Perdido Bay CrossFit since joining in 2016, Matt attended the CrossFit Level 1 Certificate Course and serves as a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.  Leveraging his experiences as a CrossFit athlete and Instructor/Master Training Specialist during his service in the U.S. Navy, Matt is able to effectively communicate and appropriately scale workout movements and intensity for any level athlete.  A veteran of numerous CrossFit competitions as an individual and as part of a team, Matt is in the best shape of his life and is excited about helping others achieve their fitness goals.

BA in Exercise Science

Louis ia a native to Kansas City Missouri,  He is 20 years into his Marine Corps career and that is what brought him to Pensacola and Perdido Bay CrossFit. His experience in CrossFit began back in 2012 when he was deployed to Afghanistan.  The variety of gymnastics skill, cardio and Olympic Lifting of CrossFit hooked him instantly.  

He started Coaching CrossFit in Jefferson City MO at two affiliates in 2013 where he came across all types of athletes of all ages and skill levels.
